Hello everyone,

The Kickstarter for Amya’s next print project has gone live!

Please check it our here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1530128474/amya-volume-one

Amya tells the story of Faye, a mute spell-touched who lives a sheltered life as the youngest daughter to a great lord. She is burdened with dark dreams of an apocalypse, and it isn’t long until her tranquil life changes when a fateful encounter with a young man sends her on a spiraling journey of self-discovery.

As Faye and her unlikely companions pursue an adventure that is greater than any of them could have anticipated, she discovers how heavy the burden she carries truly is. She is to be the pinnacle of the world’s survival or destruction, and must decide if she wishes to sacrifice her own humanity for the world — or the world for her humanity.

Please consider supporting the campaign by either spreading the word or donating. It would mean so much to us! Amya is our dream as well as our passion. We need your help to take it further!

All my thanks,

Savannah Houston-McIntyre

I realize I’m sharing this again. Anyone who supports or is interested in independent comics I urge to look into helping with this project. Amya is a charming and elegant comic, and the head creator is someone I’ve come to think of as a friend. I’ve already pledged a donation, but I’m hoping to get others to as well.

So I’m reposting this because Amya’s Kickstarter had kind of a major setback and needs all the help it can get. The sidebar ad they had going for various related websites was broken and didn’t lead to the correct site. The error wasn’t reported until 28 days into the 40-day Kickstarter. If anyone can spare the extra money to help them make goal, please look into doing so.

Help this awesome comic reach its goal! It’s so close and it hurts to see such a great Kickstarter set back by technical difficulties :(

Wait, so Shayamalama wasn’t the one ultimately to blame for ruining this movie?  Reality has just been turned upside down.

What a twist!

So M Night was one of the very few people on the team who actually cared, but corporate executives fucked everything up to the point where he gave up?

That’s…actually really sad, especially since everyone blames HIM for the disaster.

The greatest Shyamalan twist of them all.

Thanks for sharing your gifts and taking risks, Robin. Mork delighted me as a kid, and Awakenings and Good Will Hunting moved me to tears as a young man.

My heart goes out to Robin’s family and his daughter, Zelda, a brilliant and talented cast member on Korra, in the wake of their immense loss today.
